Unless you are visiting Lanzarote on one of the increasing number of cruise liners to call in at Arrecife, you will arrive by air at Lanzarote's modern airport, Arrecife (ACE), sometimes known simply as "Lanzarote", or more recently as "César Manrique-Lanzarote" or "Lanzarote-César Manrique", or locally as Guacimeta Airport. Whatever it's called it's just a short drive to Villa Rosa. There are numerous flights from various UK and Irish airports with return prices ranging from about £120 to about £300 per person, depending on the season and airport.
We are not a travel agent, just a UK family with a villa in Lanzarote. We do not sell flights, but we can help to point you in the right direction.
When comparing flight prices online, please be aware that the headline price, or basic price show on the early pages of the booking process, is vary rarely what you actually pay. It's now quite common for companies often break down their prices into different, optional, parts such as baggage, card charges and seat reservations which are not announced shown until later in the process. You might need to proceed through the process to make a fair comparison.

Villa Rosa is just 5km by road from the airport's Terminal 1 which, unless you are travelling on an internal flight from another Canary island, will be your arrival point. Hire cars and taxis are probably the most straightforward way of getting to and from Villa Rosa but other pre-booked options are also available.
You do not need to a hire car for your visit to Villa Rosa as you can easily get around using public transport and taxis. However, many people find a car useful during some or all of their stay and most of the car hire companies on the island will let you pre-book before your visit and collect at the airport, so for many people this is a good option for getting between the airport and Villa Rosa. We'll give you full directions on how to get to Villa Rosa from the airport. There are more details about hire cars on our car hire page.
Matagorda - Villa Rosa
If you are not using a hire car, then taxis are available outside the arrivals hall. You will be given the exact address of Villa Rosa for you to give the taxi driver. The fare should be around ten euros. These taxis are usually San Bartolomé taxis. They have a website for pre-booking at www.lanzarotetaxi.com/en/ but it will probably be more expensive than simply waiting a while in the queue outside the arrivals hall. There are normally plenty of taxis available.
